Last sunday

I just need to share last sunday.
Even though we slept half of the day due to nightwork, we got on the scooter in the afternoon for a lovely trip around the neighborhood. Coffee with friends, a quick stop at the garden to water the bushes, and then chinese take - away in the backyard.
A holiday in four hours.

A very clean good morning!

If at all possible, I dry my clothes outside in the sun. If I have to leave them overnight I favour having only white stuff outside to bleach.

The dark clothes are hung upstairs, in my (indeed very luxurious) washing chamber ;-)



featuring on the clothesspider - my contraption for the pins. Now in use for over ten years, it indeed is one of my projects that get's most used. So much so, that I even almost forgot about it when listing my projects on ravelry. It's a very simple contraption of acrylic yarn (unkaputtbar ;-) ) and a bend clothes hanger.

Flowering

We went to the allotment yesterday. The blackberry and the tayberry got cages now, even though the tayberry is not moved yet.



The apricot is flowering wonderfully,



so are the gooseberry



and the currants.
This is our favourite, the black current.



I cut down the chives (AGAIN!) and made sandwhichspread in the evening.

The second attempt. Patience has payed out here. The yarn, after running it through the wheel again, to release some twist, is much nicer to handle and produces a much nicer fabric.

The afternoon, colourful pots and seedbags and black earth.

First bounty is in!

Today was a wonderfully warm and sunny day, which I spent in the backyard and in the allotment.
